Subject: Footage from the first MatureGaming LAN of 2008 Mon 04 Feb 2008, 8:21 am
So this weekend just gone I went to a LAN party with the peoples over at MatureGaming.co.uk and what a great weekend it was. We had around 9 360's online (not just LAN) at the same time on one connection and kicked some ass online on COD4.
There's so much that happen'd but I can't be assed to type about it so here's a couple of vids that were recorded

coz it was a 360 LAN lol, I did take the PS3 as well. I still believe the PS3 will win but the games I've seen on both are identical (the multi-platform games COD4 etc) That said the voice chat on cod4 on the 360 is alot clearer than the PS3 but thats probably where some of the subscription charges go.
Was a great weekend, regardless of console choice they are great people who have a passion for gaming to the same degree as myself. Can't wait till the big one later this year, we're doing the warfighters then massive LAN (yes still mainly 360's but I'm trying to get more of a PS3 presence there) gonna be 30+ peeps going. Details to come

Do you have it on the PS3? Or is it on the gay 360
Otherwise we could do some co-op together

You can't have online co-op because they've probably left that for the next game so people buy it
When you do go online you play against random people. You can't actually directly choose to play with your mates on your buddy list.

Well I don't play guitar but I can play Guitar Hero on hard (lower modes are just boring)
But you do need a sense of rhymth (sp?) specially if you're gonna be a weaklin and play base all the time like me

There were no irish there for a start just drunken peoples and apparently you can have direct friend co-op on the 360 version, as for playing the bass settings @ that.
Like you said tho you don't need to be able to play real guitar just a sense of rythme and knowing where your fingers are. Once you play the songs a few times the patterns repeat so you get used to it

no because max it costs is £70. I've seen it around for £65 but you can get it for around £50 on ebay but alot of them are second hand.
It is worth it but for someone who hasn't experienced it I would recommend trying before you buy
